The workflow automation we delivered:
We built an automation flow which pulled in sales data from both Shopify and Marketplaces. We split out Shopify and Marketplaces sales along with total sales figures, and deliver the report directly to our client’s Slack channel.Here’s how it works:
1. Integration with Shopify: We connected to Shopify, allowing N8N, a workflow automation tool, to pull sales data from both Shopify and Marketplaces into a single platform.
2. Data Processing and Splitting: We set up a workflow within N8N that processes the sales data and splits it into two separate sections: Shopify sales and Marketplace sales. The total sales for each section are also calculated, providing a clear breakdown of revenue by source.
3. Slack Integration: We integrated the N8N workflow with Slack, enabling us to send the daily sales reports straight to our client’s Slack channel.
